Traveling to Grand Cayman

  • Passport and Visa Requirements: Visitors to Grand Cayman must present a valid passport. Visas are not required for Commonwealth, UK, US, or Japanese nationals, as well as nationals from certain other countries. However, if your home country is not part of the Visa Waiver program with the US, you’ll typically need a US visa for travel through the US.

Pre-Check-in and Baggage Services

Cayman Airways offers a convenient pre-check-in service one day before departure at Owen Roberts Airport in George Town, Grand Cayman, from 7 pm to 9 pm every evening. Passengers without checked baggage can proceed directly to the security checkpoint, while those with luggage can drop it off at the ‘Fast Bag’ drop-off located at the Cayman Airways Airport ticket desk from 5 pm to 7 pm every evening.
